Blog dead. Cliche' maximized.

Okay, I've figured it out. I'm certainly not going to update this enough to warrant having a blog.. Unless.. I've been organizing my site, and one of the things I'm going to do it prune out all the random crap. But of course, being a packrat, I have to save said crap somewhere. So I'll just throw it in the blog. That way I can explain what the random pieces of crap are, and link to them. And I won't have to maintain that list or anything, it'll just be a historical document.

I rule. Rather, I believe I rule. Cogito Ergo Rule?

UH-huh. It's a cliche. A blog with a lot of initial entries and nothing more. Oh well.

Eli is crawling, finally! He was showing initial signs of creepitude, but now he's in spontaneous wriggle mode. I expect that by the end of the week he'll be in the super-fly mode.

Jill and I are both hammering away on our keyboards tonight. She just got a domain name registered for hubbes.net which she's going to use for her Hubbes family photos and stuff. Should be cool.

It's quite lovely to see her making web pages. I'm so proud!

Niiiiiiice, he's six months old and we're worried about him getting expelled already? What a fussy boy! Oh well. Got home and he was all about the jumping and smiling and playing. Fun for us!

Got the dreaded "Eli should go home" call from daycare today. Seems he's rubbing his ear and has been screaming all morning and afternoon. Joy. Jill will probably get him and take him to the clinic, but it's really a hassle. Oh well, whatever it takes to make the little guy happy..

Played a bit of "bang on the table" with Eli yesterday. I thump my hand on the porch table and Eli, who is standing up leaning on the table, thumps his hand. Sometimes it seems like he's tapping out the same number as I am tapping, but it's really random. But he is indeed tapping after I tap. Pretty cool.
Got some more lomographs back. Nothing astounding enough to blow up, except maybe some night shots of sparklers. Lots of fun, though. Need to scan them in soon, before I build up a ridiculous number of pics and it becomes intimidating. Oops, too late!
Need new music.

Work on a Sunday. Joy. Watching Eli last night went well. A quiet night of TeeVee and playing Backyard Baseball -- only three games from the championships! New Pop will Eat Itself CD - rather, an old one. The Radio One Sessions, very simplistic sound from the sample masters. Very nice, in a mellow loud sort of way.

Fun last night indeed. Was nice to hang out and chat with people - new people are always fun. Erik and I ended up going to the Saloon from there and we hung out and drank beer and talked about guy stuff and danced a bit. We both decided it was an "ok" or "good" night, but not "great" -- sometimes amazing nights can't be manufactured. That, and you usually need someone obnoxious and energetic to get/keep people going.

But it was good. Now I'm hoping Jill has a smashing time out with her friends tonight so I can go out again tuesday. Heh.

Going out on the town tonight with Erik. Boys night out, since Jill's going on a Girl's night out tomorrow night. A friend of ours is getting married, and Jill is throwing the Bachelorette party. Starting late on a full stomach, tonight should be late and fun!

Ok, so there's an AvantGo Channel. That's closer. But still not quite there yet.. :) Will have to see what I can do about that..

If I find a way to update my blog from my Palm and wireless Omnisky modem, I'll be supercharged. As is, this web interface is kinda saddening, as it's almost too much work to update the blog. Yes, I am that lazy. Interesting, tho.. I should just hack the interface and whack up my own Palm interface. Wouldn't be too much work, I don't suppose..
